Calling All Actors!

Have you been bit by the acting bug?!

If so, then Broadway is calling...well, kind of!

In Spring 2010, the Falcon's Eye Theatre at Folsom Lake College will perform “The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee.” This hilarious hit musical tale of overachievers’ angst chronicles the experiences of six adolescent outsiders vying for the spelling championship of a lifetime.

The show’s Tony Award-winning creative team has created a quirky yet charming cast of outsiders for whom a spelling bee is the one place where they can stand out and fit in at the same time.

Auditions are February 8, 2010 at 7 p.m.

Rehearsal dates are February 22 - April 29.

And, if you're not a performer, then come to the performances!!

Performance dates are April 30 - May 16.

For more information, call 916-608-6800 or log on to:

Baby It's Cold Outside!

I don't know about you, but burrrr...

I have become a weather wimp and I'm not afraid to admit it.

Thankfully, I have discovered a blanket -- The Softest Blanket Ever -- that keeps me nice and toasty! Everyone in my house loves this blanket -- in fact, I often have to wrestle with my dogs for possession of this blanket.

The fact that it's called the Softest Blanket Ever is no coincidence -- it really is soft and cozy! Made by the folks that make those uber-soft Baby Jak blankets, this throw is their grown-up version!
