Be Part of a Real Classic!

Do you have a passion for performing arts or the knack and confidence to perform onstage? Would you love to be a part of a Shakespeare play?

Falcon’s Eye Theatre of Folsom Lake College is calling versatile actors in the community to audition for a part in William Shakespeare’s thrilling war drama, The Life of King Henry the Fifth. Don’t miss out on this great opportunity to meet new people with the same passion as you do, and to enhance your theatrical skills and, of course, your resume!

Auditioners are asked to prepare a 90-second monologue, memorized if possible, from any Shakespeare play. Cold readings from the text will also be conducted. If you have a photo and a resume to back up your skills, then by all means bring ‘em! Experience with Shakespeare plays and stage combat are definitely huge plusses.

Feel like you don’t have enough experience, but would absolutely love to audition? No worries! Experience is not required. The play calls for a large and diverse cast, so actors of any race, disability or age over 18 are more than welcome.

Auditions will be held on September 14 at Aspen Hall Room FL1-20 at Folsom Lake College.

Auditions will start at 7 p.m. on a first-come, first-served basis, so come in early in your best performing hat!

I know I would…love to watch the play!
