Comedian Kenny Kane Performs at Sequoia

In need of a good laugh?

Well then head over to Sequoia restaurant in Placerville on September 2 to see comedian Kenny Kane put on a routine that will leave you in stitches.

Kane draws from his background as a black belt, hip-hop dancer, soccer player and track athlete. His show material also pulls from real stories about family, relationships, teaching children and motivational speaking.

Brad Sherwood (from “Who’s Line Is It Anyways”) says, “Kenny Kane is a cross between Robin Williams and Steve Martin.” Others have described him “as a mix of Jim Carrey and Martin Short.”

And before you head to Sequoia, read Style Editor Desiree Patterson's Dine Review in the upcoming September issue about the favorite eatery. Then you’ll know exactly what to chow down on during the show.

Tickets are $15 in advance, $20 at the door or $10 with your dinner reservation. Go to sequoiaplacerville.com for more information or visit Kane’s Web site at kennykane.com to read more about his performances.
