Sacramento History Museum Offers Free Admission To Military Personnel And Their Families This Summer

The Sacramento History Museum announced its participation in Blue Star Museums, a collaboration among the National Endowment for the Arts, Blue Star Families, the Department of Defense and more than 1,800 museums across America to offer free admission to all active duty military personnel and their families from Memorial Day through Labor Day 2013.

“We are proud to once again participate in the worthwhile Blue Star Museums program this summer,” said Historic Old Sacramento Foundation Deputy Director Kristina Swanson. “We are happy provide an opportunity for our nation’s service members and their families to connect with our national treasures.  It is our way of giving back to dedicated military families who sacrifice so much.”
