May-Be Something Wild! Coming May 17th

On 3rd Saturday, May 17, El Dorado Arts Counci,l in partnership with the Placerville Downtown Association, will celebrate May-Be SOMETHING WILD!, a deliciously feral event funded in part by the California Arts Council and the National Endowment for the Arts.

May-Be SOMETHING WILD! commemorates the 50th Anniversary of the Wilderness Act and will feature all things wild and then some: wild music, wild movement (Ecstatic Dancers!), wild murals on merchant windows, wild words, wild gallery art, a wild animal masquerade, and wild men, namely a John Muir lookalike contest!

The wild rumpus begins at the Main Street Bell Tower at 4:30 p.m. and ends at 8:00 p.m.

For more details about this event, contact Moira Magneson at the El Dorado Arts council at  edac@eldoradoartscouncil.org or 530.295.3496.
