El Dorado Musical Theatre Presents The Music Man April 25-May 11

El Dorado Musical Theatre is proud to present The Music Man, which will run April 25-May 11,  at Harris Center (Three Stages) at Folsom Lake College in Folsom.

Visit Smalltown, U.S.A. of a bygone era as this show reveals the fast-talking traveling salesman Harold Hill and his dealings with the people of River City, Iowa. He tricks them into buying instruments and uniforms for a boys’ band which he vows to organize (despite the fact he doesn’t know a trombone from a treble clef)!

His plans to skip town with the cash are foiled when he falls for Marian the librarian, who transforms him into a respectable citizen by the end of the show. Favorite songs from this show include “Trouble,” “Goodnight My Someone,” “Seventy-Six Trombones,” “Goodnight Ladies,” “Wells Fargo Wagon,” “Gary Indiana,” and many, many more.

Funny, romantic, and touching, The Music Man is family entertainment at its best.  Get your tickets now!

Ticket prices range from $14.75-$36 and can be purchased online at harriscenter.net or by calling the Harris Center Ticket Office at 916-608-6888.  Bargain Performances on Sunday May 4th at 6:00 p.m. and Thursday May 8th at 7:00 p.m. are offered with all seats only $14.75!!!
