Folsom Lake College Summer and Fall 2009 Class Schedules Now Available Online; Registration Begins Soon

Just heard from my buddy, Scott Crow, over at Folsom Lake College about the Summer and Fall 2009 class schedules -- some interesting new class offerings!


He also mentioned that because of heavy demand for some classes, the college is encouraging the community to register as early as possible.


Here's some useful information for you:


Folsom Lake College’s Summer and Fall 2009 class schedules are now available online at the college’s website at http://www.flc.losrios.edu/, with information updated regularly. The schedules feature all of the classes offered by Folsom Lake College – including courses offered at its El Dorado and Rancho Cordova Centers – from June-December 2009.

Folsom Lake College offers a variety of new classes in Summer and Fall, including:

• Administration of Justice 310, Forensic Photography


• Art 294, Drawing with Pastels


• Business Technology 120, Skills for Today’s Office, and Business Technology 299, Next Skills


• Early Childhood Education 363, Music and Movement with Young Children


• Environmental Technology 356, Wastewater Operations and Maintenance I, and Environmental Technology 358, Water Treatment Operation and Maintenance I


• Fire Technology 303, Building Construction for Fire Protection


• Management 315, Government Relations and Policy Development


• Nutrition 307, Nutrition for Fitness


• Photography, the Pacific Coast Landscape


• Physical Education Theory 416, Sport and Fitness Psychology: Motivational Strategies for Behavioral Change.

Several of these classes are part of exciting new Career Technical Education degree and certificate programs at Folsom Lake College.

Most Summer 2009 classes begin June 8; most Fall 2009 classes begin August 24-28. New and returning students can submit their application now, with priority registration beginning in late April; open enrollment starts May 25.
