This upcoming weekend, take a motorcycle ride through the beautiful foothills and show your support for local victims of domestic violence. This will be the fourth ride hosted by the Center for Violence-free Relationships (formerly the El Dorado Women's Center). The ride will end at the Diamond Springs Fire Fighter's Memorial Hall for some BBQ, music, a raffle.

WHEN: September 11
WHERE: Registration starts at Main St. Placerville, by the Bell tower
TIME: 8:30 - 10:30 a.m.
COST: $20 per rider (all proceeds go the organization)

In July of 2006, Pat Barron tragically lost his sister, Kacie, as the result of domestic violence. Pat has worked tirelessly to help raise awareness of domestic violence and the damage it causes families and communities. The Fifth Annual Kacie's Ride for Hope is an opportunity for the motorcycle community to come together and help raise funds to prevent a tragedy like Kacie's from occurring again.
