Fireworks and Fun Tomorrow at Cameron Park!

Looking for somewhere to kick back this weekend before your big 4th celebration?

Don't miss the 12th Annual Summer Spectacular tomorrow at Cameron Park Lake!

Last year it was estimated that more than 10,000 people enjoyed the evening!

Some of the attractions this year will be a traditional fireman's bucket brigade, a hot dog and watermelon eating contest, multiple live bands and dozens of food, art and craft vendors. Parking is FREE at the Cameron Park Airpark.

SCHEDULE OF EVENTS

2 p.m. Gates Open
Kids zone, crafts faire and exhibitor row and lagoon open for swimming

4:30 p.m. Fire Department Bucket Brigade
Get your buckets warmed up and your running shoes shined up to compete in this contest to win the coveted annual trophy.

5 p.m. MUSIC: Late for Dinner
LATE FOR DINNER is a local favorite and recognized as one of El Dorado County, California's favorite performing musical bands. Offering a diverse mixture of Rastamerican Blues, Caribbean Pop, and a unique Reggae Rhythm & Rock Fusion.

6:45 p.m. 3rd Annual Hot Dog Eating Contest
Need we say more?

7 p.m. 2nd Annual Watermelon Eating Contest
Be careful you may find yourself involved in one of the quintessential celebrations of summer: a watermelon-eating contest. Lots of messy fun.

7:30 p.m. MUSIC: Steelin' Dan
STEELIN' DAN is Northern California's premier Steely Dan tribute band!

9:15 p.m. Fireworks over Cameron Park Lake
Presented by the Cameron Park CSD and El Dorado Disposal
Pyro Spectaculars is the largest fireworks company on the West Coast and one of the largest in the country.
