Kiehl's Since 1851 Grand Opening Friday

Kiehl's Since 1851, the venerable New York based purveyor of fine quality skin and hair care preparations, will celebrate the grand opening of its modern apothecary retail store at Arden Fair Mall, the first in the greater Sacramento area, with a special event featuring its local charity partner "Edible Sac High," coordinated by Greeenwise Joint Venture, which is modeled after Alice Water's Edible Schoolyard.

It is the only program of its kind at a high school level in the U.S.  As a kick off to Earth Day weekend, and in celebration of the new store, Kiehl's will present $2500 to Greenwise Joint Venture for the Edible Sac High program, in a continued effort to give back to the communities where Kiehl's does business.

Students from "Edible Sac High" will demo a couple of dishes prepped under the guidance of Fabrizio Cercatore, co-owner and pizziolo from Hot Italian, one of the many sustainable food partners of the program. Samples will be available for the public. During the event, Kiehl's will also have demos and mini-facials available by appointment. Book early as appointment times are filling quickly!

Kiehl's Since 1851, fine skin care purveyors, is dedicated to serving women and men formulas for skin, body and hair made with uniquely efficacious, natural ingredients, and committed to giving back to the communities in which they do business.

The new store will be located at Arden Fair Mall, store location 1E. The Grand Opening is from 1-3p.m, Friday, April 19th. The first 50 people to attend with receive a free gift!
