Folsom Gold Performing At Two Shows To Benefit Twin Lakes Food Bank And Mt. Olive Arts Council

Folsom Gold, a mixed ten voice singing ensemble, will perform All-American Gold in two fundraising concerts to benefit the Twin Lakes Food Bank and the Mt. Olive Arts Council.

The concerts will be held Saturday, August 17, at 7p.m., and Sunday, August 18, at 2p.m., at Mt. Olive Lutheran Church's Fellowship Hall, 320 Montrose Drive in Folsom.

This spring and summer, Folsom Gold performed before sold out houses at the Three Stages Main Stage and the Chautauqua Playhouse. That's nearly 2,000 people, of all ages, who went home happy with what they heard and saw! Folsom Gold's stylings include fresh, cool, fun arrangements of Swing, Jazz, Bossa Nova and Pop songs from the 30's, 40's, 50's and 60's.

Folsom Gold's arrangements are contemporary updates that enhance while remaining true to the original, universally loved, songs. These concerts will culminate in a patriotic tribute to America and to the men and women who have served in the armed forces.

Tickets are on sale now, so don't miss out! Bring your kids, your parents, grandparents, veterans and neighbors.T hey'll thank you for it! Although it is a fundraiser, tickets are a very reasonable $15 in advance ($20 at the door, if seats are still available the day of the concert). Delicious refreshments are available at the intermission. Get your tickets online at mountoliveartscouncil.tix.com.
