Sunset Ridge Mandarins In Season!

Mandarins are a part of the delicious tastes of fall and winter, and Sunset Ridge Mandarins are ready to go!

They have a large crop of mandarins this year and they are ripening at least two weeks ahead of normal. The growing conditions have been great... mild winter, leading to mild spring to fairly cool summer, etc.

They will have mid-season ripe mandarins for Thanksgiving and beyond. You can order mandarins on-line now at GotMandarins.com, and they start shipping them out November 15th. Farm will open in full swing on November 15th also!

Many kids and adults love to harvest their own mandarins with their "u-pick" option. Bring a group and try it. School groups must call ahead to schedule a weekday appointment.

Sunset Ridge will also have mandarins available in the east Roseville/Granite Bay area starting November 15th at the Shell Gas Station, corner of Sierra College Blvd. and Douglas Blvd. Their plan is to be there daily throughout the season from 10-5p.m., weather permitting and fruit availability. When they are not there, they typically stock the gas station store with a dozen bags to have available for the earlier and later hours.
