New Book About Roseville!

Roseville is making a print appearance in a new book that features a collection of vintage photographs!

That's right! The Roseville Historical Society is sharing the history of the area and showing how the city has developed over the years. It started out as a sleepy meadow town then a railroad hub and finally a modern, suburban city.

We at Style are excited because it's always great to know more about the place you live. For instance, before white settlement in 1849, the Maidu of Nisenan Indians lived in the Roseville area. Makes sense that The Maidu Park and library are named what they are!

So make sure you pick up your copy and learn a little more about Roseville! There is also a set of 15 postcards for $7.99. It's available at area bookstores and independent and online retailers. You can also call Arcadia Publishing at (888)-313-2665 or visit www.arcadiapublishing.com.
