Tunes & Truffles


This V-Day, don't head to a crowded restaurant where you'll be packed in like sardines and hearing every other couple's chit chat. Plan the night around the Tunes & Truffles event at Wine & Roses in Lodi where you'll enjoy Hors d' oeuvres, a delicious three course meal and divine array of handmade truffles with assorted toppings. Big Booty Bob and The Backside Kickers will be dishing out some dance-worthy jazz grooves, along with classic rock, blues and country standard tunes.

Attention Artists: Clay event hosted by Tony Natsoulas


Sacramento artist, Tony Natsoulas, is inviting artists to participate and compete in the second annual Totems, Plates & Teapots clay event sponsored by the Placer Community Foundation and Alpha Fired Arts.

This year the grand prize winner will receive a full color announcement in Ceramics Monthly featuring their prized piece, selected by the juror, Christy Johnson-Executive Director of the American Museum of Ceramic Art. Second place will receive $300 and third place, $200.

Artists are encouraged to submit their work for consideration through the Roseville Arts website.

In the past the exhibit  has featured work by Steven Allen, Jennifer Brazelton, Mike Dickay, Kurt Fishback Susanne Kubler and many more.

Exhibition Dates: April 21 – June 2
