"It's Electrifying!": New Exhibit At The California Automobile Museum Highlights Influential Vehicles In California Opens Today

 "It's Electrifying! Alternative Fuels in California," presented by SMUD, is opening at the California Automobile Museum today, February 15!

This exhibit is a historical look at the progression of alternative fuel and electric cars produced with California's trending market in mind.

Between a 1911 Detroit Electric and a sleek 2008 Tesla Roadster, Museum patrons will explore and discover the technology that has driven these cars through the past and into the future. Children and adults will enjoy an enlightening display of plug-in electric, fuel cell and hydrogen vehicles that have been influential to today's auto industry.

Sacramento Municipal Utility District (SMUD) is the title sponsor for this exhibit. For more information on SMUD, please visit SMUD.org.

This exhibit is relevant to the California Automobile Museum's mission to preserve, exhibit and teach the story of the automobile and its influence on our lives. The Museum is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization. This is an all-ages facility open to the public 10a.m. - 6p.m., seven days a week.
