Clay Competition!

Were you the king or queen of Play-Doh as a kid? Find out if your skills stuck with you at the Teams of Clay competition in Lincoln on April 15.

Teams will have only 15 minutes to create a "work of art" in clay. We bet it's even harder than it sounds (which it sounds hard)... but also a total blast. The clay is all provided by Gladding McBean.

Or maybe you're not really into getting covered in clay. That's okay! Have lunch in the plaza and watch some fantastic sculptures appear before your eyes in mere minutes!

The annual event will be kicking off the 24th year of Feats of Clay. A gala celebration will take place on April 30 and tours will be offered of the 136-year old Gladding McBean Terra Cotta plant. During the tour you can see how the 136-year old factory operates and uses technologies from the 19th, 20th & 21st centuries. And of course we can't forget the artwork from the national renowned juried art show.

WHEN: April 15
WHERE: Beermann Plaza in downtown Lincoln
TIME: Begins at 11:30, competition at noon.
COST: Entry fee per team is $25
