Who doesn't love a good parade? And this coming weekend, one in Sutter Creek put on by the Italian Benevolent Society is turning 130 this year.The march down State Highway 49 and the picnic that follows are well worth a weekend trip, to say nothing of the All-You-Can-Eat Spaghetti and Chicken Feed the night before!
There will be food, a carnival, live band, dancing and games. Plus try your skills at Bocce ball for a buck. Friday night is kids’ night and Saturday is the Italian dinner at 6 p.m. The Grand Parade will be in downtown Sutter Creek on Sunday at 10:30 am. Bocce Tournament Sunday afternoon for the truly hard core!
