On May 20, The Placer Breast Cancer Endowment and La Provence restaurant are teaming up for the fourth annual evening to remember women who have died from breast cancer.
It should be an evening of delicious food, great music and a chance to support a great cause, breast cancer awareness.
The evening will be in memory of a local resident Signe King who passed away September 6, 2005, following a lengthy battle with breast cancer. Signe King was a real estate broker for nearly 30 years and a pioneer in the Sacramento region’s commercial and industrial real estate industry.
She began her career with Hewlett Packard and served as Vice President for both Carlsberg Development Company in Sacramento and Coker-Ewing Real Estate in Roseville. She founded Signe King Commercial in 1994 to serve non-residential clients in the Sacramento region.
An active woman in the Roseville Chamber of Commerce, King was a model for business women everywhere.
