When do those three things mix? We know art and wine are pretty typical for charity functions, but bald eagles aren't usually thrown in the mix. But that's what will be going on at the High Hand Nursery (Sierra foothills) where the benefit bash for the Gold Country Wildlife Rescue is happening.The organization is dedicated to rescuing and rehabilitating injured wild animals. At the benefit, which will take place in the historic High Hand fruit sheds, you'll have a chance to peruse local work by High Hand Art Gallery artists and learn all about rescued birds of prey. There will also be some birds mingling with guests. Now that's an idea we haven't heard about!
And of course, we didn't forget the wine! There will be light hors d’oeuvres and a complimentary glass of wine with the option to purchase more beverages. You also will have a chance to win a fabulous raffle prize!
