Generation VIII by Sandy Allie
Forty artists invite you to visit their studios and enjoy their diverse talents. You will see painters, sculptors, jewelers, potters, photographers and mixed media artists. The tour brochure and map serves as a guide for your weekend treasure hunt where adventure, entertainment and education await you. Purchase original art for your home or office or buy a gift for that special someone.
Start your adventure at any point on the map and chart your own course. Some locations have one artist in their personal studio; other locations have two or more artists showing together. All have their own unique personality, technique and style so you won’t want to miss any of them. No two are alike.
There are 40 artists in 13 studios, eager to share their love of art with you. Talk to the artists and ask questions about how they got started and what inspires them. Artist love to share their creative process, so don’t be shy about asking questions. The studio tour provides you with the opportunity to see and purchase high quality, original art in all media, directly from the artists who create it.
The Tour brochure serves as your guide for this third annual event where you visit the intriguing world of the artists. Enjoy an entire weekend of touring the artist’s environment, their work space and seeing the equipment they use to create their art. Experience a behind the scenes preview of art in the making.
