From sculptures to photography to paintings, local artists showing in the El Dorado Arts Council ArtSpace are giving their interpretations of the natural form. Local sculptor Sandy Allie draws from the great masters Donatello, Michelangelo, and Rodin. She looks to show the reality of the human figure but also the introspective, emotional and expressive side of humanity. "It is by working in clay through representation of the human figure that I find my way to express the things important to me," she says.
