It's post-Thanksgiving and we all can barely move from so much good eating. (Well, we can only speak for ourselves). Not to mention we are in post-Black Friday recovery.While sleeping the rest of the weekend sounds pretty good... reading and talking about books sounds pretty good too. Just the sort of comfort needed for the soul after holiday mayhem.
Today is the start of "Authors Among Us," a nine day literary event The Market Place hosts every year. There are now more than 50 authors participating and speaking on a variety of topics. There will be book signings, readings, agents, publishers and more.
Panel topics include everything from memoirs to jump starting creativity to relationships to self publishing.
