2013 Quidditch Western Regional Championship
February 16-17:
Faster than a Nimbus 2000, Quidditch is becoming an increasingly popular pastime for all ages. A sport developed from the world of Harry Potter, it has a growing fan base. The 4th Annual Western Cup is being hosted in Roseville at Maidu Regional Park. Come play or watch as teams from as far as Alaska, Hawaii and Montana compete to qualify for the World Cup. The Response: A Global Sex Trafficking Summit
February 22-23:
How should we respond as a community to combat sex trafficking both in our region as well as in the world? Join international experts on the issue to learn how we can each play a part in protecting the vulnerable. Presented by Courage Worldwide, and hosted at William Jessup University, The Response will take place at Adventure Christian Church in Rocklin. Come to learn, view the documentary Nefarious and join others in prayer and worship.
