It will be great opportunity to join with the community in the mission of giving, which is the reason for the season. Folsom Mayor Jeff Starsky, Sacramento County Supervisor Roberta McGlashan, Folsom merchant Jim Snook, a representative of the Twin Lakes Food Bank will be present for the ice rink's opening.
Merchants are also offering special one-day discount coupons in exchange for early donations to the food drive. The drive will last until the tree-lighting ceremony on December 3.
WHEN: Thursday, Nov. 18
WHERE: Folsom's Historic Sutter Street Ice Rink, behind 200 Wool Street near the railroad turnstyle.
TIME: 8 a.m.

Open daily 10 a.m. to 10 p.m.
Thanksgiving Day - Open 10 a..m. to 3 p.m. Closed Christmas Day.
Cost:
Adults $8.50 + $2.00 for skate rental
Children 12 & under/62 & older $5.50 plus $2.00 skate rental
