The community is invited to participate in these events, which will be held at the college’s main campus (10 College Parkway in Folsom) and El Dorado Center (6699 Campus Drive in Placerville).
Events include speakers, films and discussions on various environmental themes including food and water issues, climate change, wildlife and ecology, alternative transportation and energy systems, and a general celebration of our amazing planet. There will be a Green Machine Fair on Wednesday, April 17, from 11a.m.-2p.m,. at the Folsom campus with music, games and vendors.
Wednesday is also “Bike to School Day” at Folsom Lake College. The El Dorado Center will feature an “Earth Day on the Green” event on Thursday, April 18, from 10a.m.-1p.m., with music, games, food and a farmers market.
Entrance to all events is free (a daily parking pass can be purchased for $1). Maps to the campuses can be found at flc.losrios.edu – just click on “Maps” at the top of the home page and then either “Main Folsom Campus” or “El Dorado Center.”
