Calling All Aspiring Photographers

Do have a great eye and quick shutter finger? Not a professional photographer, but want to break out your mad photo skills? Grab your camera because Folsom is holding its fourth annual photography contest.

And the subject, well, it’s all about Folsom!

It’s all about how you see the City of Folsom, its rich past, present, future, diversity, natural beauty and events. You just need to be… creative, innovative and inspired.

Each contestant can enter five photos in six categories including one for black and white photos. There are so many ways to capture the feeling of the city and the contest gives plenty of opportunities to shoot what you love ranging from nature and bridges to people just having fun.

You can’t beat getting paid cash for photographing the beauty of your own city.
The photos from the exhibit will also be shown at the Gallery at 48 Natoma.

So get focused about Folsom and start clicking away… we at Style can’t wait to see how you view the city!

Photos can be submitted from October 1 - 27.

For a complete list of contest rules, visit the Patron of the Arts.
