Sacramento King's Rhythm 'N Rims Benefits Local Charities

The Sacramento Kings Foundation presents RHYTHM 'N RIMS Sunday, October 28th at the Power Balance Pavilion in Sacramento. Kicking off the morning will be a 5K walk benefiting 14 area nonprofit organizations and involves families, local businesses, walk teams and supporters. The walk allows nonprofits to recruit teams in support of raising funds and awareness with Sacramento Kings players and coaches as their honorary team captains.

The charities have been offered the opportunity to build their own teams and raise funds for their cause. The morning will be filled with a festival atmosphere at Power Balance Pavilion and live music along the route. After the walk, enjoy entertainment, interactive booths, basketball activities for all ages, more music, food and fun!

There is NO FEE to register for children 5 years of age and under. The registration fee for youth 17 years of age and under is $15 and $20 for adults 18 years of age and older. The registration fee for youth and adult participants includes a commemorative RHYTHM 'N RIMS t-shirt.

Once you have registered, all funds raised will go directly to the charity you register to walk in support of. You can join an existing walk team under the nonprofit you wish to support or start your own team! If you do not have a nonprofit preference, you can walk under "RHYTHM 'N RIMS" to support their five Nonprofit Mentors- CASA, CCHAT, Child Advocates of Placer County, Keaton Raphael Memorial and Sierra Forever Families.

Online registration will be available until Saturday, October 27 at 3:00pm. After which point, registrants can register at Power Balance Pavilion on Sunday, October 28 beginning at 8:00am.

Later that evening, the Sacramento Kings along with our corporate partners will be host to an exclusive VIP reception complete with a meet and greet with Kings talent, auction, hosted bar and appetizer station. To top off the night an exciting evening has been planned, complete with a mascot dunk contest, 3-point challenge, additional basketball related activities and an exciting concert which is also available to the general public.
