Back by popular demand, Kirk Rademaker will once again bring the beach inside the Blue Line Gallery. Last summer, the Santa Cruz based sculptor built a seven-ton sand castle in the middle of the Blue Line Gallery. Rademaker will "share" his sandbox with visitors who purchase a bucket and shovel for $5. Proceeds to support ongoing family and children programs held in the Blue Line Gallery.

This year's sand installation is the last in a series of interactive activities for visitors during the gallery's centennial exhibit. "Paint the Town" interactive murals are open for visitor participation during Downtown Tuesday Nights 5-8 p.m. and Saturdays 1-4 p.m. through July 10.

Rademaker's finished sand sculpture will remain in the gallery for visitors to see through July 31. Gallery will be closed July 3 and 4.
