Hands4Hope And Town Center To Honor Our Troops With Care Package Drive

Hands4Hope, a local youth driven outreach organization, is teaming up with El Dorado Hills Town Center for the third year in a row to honor men and women serving our country overseas.

The 3rd Annual Soldier Care Package Drive at Town Center will begin on June 17 and run through July 5. The following businesses are designated drop off spots for donations: Chili's, Nugget Market, Face in a Book, It's Kids Time, Round Table Pizza, Ruffhaus Hot Dog Company and Wells Fargo.

On July 3, during the Town Center Fireworks Jubilee, Hands4Hope will be collecting donations at a booth along the main boulevard. Items needed include black crew socks, beef jerky, foot powder, sunscreen, lip balm, dental floss, toothbrushes, toothpaste, deodorant, Frisbees, golf balls, hard candy, granola bars, tuna packs, and thank you cards and letters.

Hands4Hope youth, in conjunction with the Honor Our Troops Committee, will create care packages with these items and mail them to soldiers overseas on July 10. Hands4Hope appreciates your effort to join them in recognizing our deployed soldiers during this patriotic time of year!
