Sultry Workout...Support River City Food Bank

Who said working out had to make you feel gross and unflattering?

Get ready for some sexy fitness at The Studio's Dance 4Play sessions. It's rare you can use sultry and sweaty in the same sentence... It's a great option for bachelorette parties or just some fun for a girls night out!

The classes are for all dance abilities and fitness levels. Just be prepared to get sweaty!

Instructor, Donna Webb, developed Dance 4Play so women of all ages, shapes and abilities can have fun while exercising or take home some sexy, exotic dance moves to share with their loved one.
Talk about some fun for the holiday!

The best part is that proceeds will support the River City Food Bank if you attend tomorrow. You can pay the $15 admission or bring a frozen turkey! Also, feel free to bring an appetizer and maybe a food donation since a food bank recently burned down.
WHEN: TOMORROW, Friday November 19
WHERE: 4130 Douglas Blvd. #405, Granite Bay
TIME: 6 p.m.

The Buzz about Three Stages!

Style Media Group got a sneak peek at the brand new visual and performing arts center Three Stages at Folsom Lake College this morning. During the media tour, we checked out the art gallery, the recording studio, spacious educational facilities for lectures and art labs, and of course the Three Stages, which vary in size of 100, 200 or 850-seat theaters.

While the 80,000-square-foot facility wowed us from the moment we stepped into the lobby, it was the spring 2011 line-up of events that have us pumped for the grand opening next year. Featuring productions from around the world (Three Stages Presents), the local capital region (Partners of Three Stages) and productions originating at Folsom Lake College (Productions at Three Stages), we will certainly be making our way to the center quite often!

Opening festivities include a Ribbon Cutting and Open House on February 4. And the following weekend, “A Chorus Line: The National Tour” kicks off the 3-day grand opening. Other sure-to-be-popular productions include Hal Holbrook’s Mark Twain Tonight!, the Sacramento Ballet, Folsom Lake College’s dance company MOSAIC and many, many more. The Three Stages full calendar can be found online at www.threestages.net, with online ticket purchases beginning this Friday. And by purchasing tickets to three of the “Three Stages Presents” events, you’ll save 15 percent on your purchase. Buy your tickets early, as the shows are bound to sell out quickly!
