Attention Volunteers!

If you are looking for a chance to volunteer this summer, the El Dorado County Department of Human Services could really use assistance during visitation hours between parents and children. The visitation process is provided for children receiving reunification services.

It allows them to maintain relationships in a safe environment while the process is taking place. Visitation hours range from one to four hours. Experience is helpful but not mandatory to volunteer. Training is provided by the social services staff.

The Senior Information & Assistance Program is designed to assist in navigating various senior programs and finding what might best assist seniors. Learn about programs to keep seniors safely at home, to keep seniors active in the community as well as programs that contribute to seniors' overall well being.
