Do you know a couple recently engaged? Then you need to tell them of an amazing dream wedding giveaway happening in the Sacramento region.

It's the Sunset Whitney Classic Wedding of a Lifetime Contest...it's a dream wedding giveaway for a wedding worth more than $30,000. One lucky couple will win this wedding of a lifetime...but in order to win, the couple has to enter! And, the deadline to enter is only two weeks away. So time to get a move on!

One lucky couple will win a ceremony at Old St. Mary’s Chapel, reception at Sunset Whitney Country Club, dresses, horse-drawn carriage, cake, invitations, photographer, mini-honeymoon and much, much more. But like they say in those infomercials, but wait, there's more...

We’ll also feature the winning couple's wedding in the Summer/Fall 2011 issue of Real Weddings Magazine!

To enter, couples will need to download an entry form online from Sunset Whitney's Web site and complete a few questions about how they met and the events leading up to their engagement. Note that all entries must be received by October 8, 2010.

Then, once all the votes are in, five couples will be in the finals. The public will get to vote on who ultimately wins the Sunset Whitney Classic Wedding of a Lifetime!

Sierra College's “Save Our Sports Fundraising Golf Tournament”

We just go this press release from our friends at Sunset Whitney Country Club about a special fundraising event...read on!

Due to budget cuts, Sierra College is in jeopardy of losing up to five of its athletic programs.

These cuts include both the Men’s and Women’s Golf Teams. On Monday, March 29th, Sunset Whitney Country Club is hosting the SIERRA COLLEGE – SAVE OUR SPORTS Fundraiser. The goal is to raise $10,000 which will ensure that the golf programs can continue into the upcoming 2011 school year.

Unfortunately, Men’s Golf Coach and Event Coordinator, Tim Hovancsek collapsed at a recent Sierra College Men’s Golf Match and is currently in Intensive Care after undergoing heart surgery. Local PGA Professionals and Sierra College officials are picking up where Tim left off in trying to continue the vision that he had begun.

So, all you Style Magazine golfers, get out there and golf for a good cause! March 29th looks like a good day to play a little hooky! Wouldn't you agree?

Monday, March 29th, 2010. 1 p.m. Shotgun Start

4 Person SCRAMBLE Format

$100 Per Person – includes Golf, Cart, Range Balls and Prizes

Closest to the Pin, Longest Drive, Raffle Prizes
