Summer Reading Programs

There is nothing like a good book!

And we're fortunate to live in communities with strong library resources.

Check out some of our communities summer reading programs:

City of Folsom:
Kids, teens and adults have great incentive to crack the books this summer through participation in Folsom Public Library's Summer Reading Programs continuing through July 31.

Kids - "Be Creative @ Your Library" - Explore the worlds of music, dance, arts, books and more. Open to all ages from babies to tweens with programs, prizes and story times.

Teens - "Express Yourself @ Your Library" - Read for prizes and take part in fun events just for teens.

Adults - "Master the Art of Reading" - Raffles for great prizes, special events and book swaps for ages 18 and up.

City of Roseville:
Reading logs are available online or in-library Monday, June 15, through Saturday, June 27 only.

Instructions are:
Read every day for six weeks, for at least 20 minutes a day, and fill in a box for each day
-or-
Choose one of the creative activities listed in the reading log and fill in a box after you’ve done it. Each activity only counts once.

After your log is full, sign it and come in to get your prize! Prizes available August 1 - 15 only. Parent signature required for youth log. Teen signature required for teen log. Sponsored by the Friends of the Roseville Public Library.
