On March 20, 2010, A Touch of Understanding (ATOU) of Granite Bay will host the 5th annual Access To Care Fair on the Bayside Church campus at 8191 Sierra College Blvd. in Roseville/Granite Bay.
This FREE event is scheduled from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. The Fair will feature over 50 exhibitors representing special needs, disability, and seniors-related products and services; autism-related workshops; and creative activities for children of all ages.
This one-of-a-kind special needs resource event kicks off with a Wheelchair Basketball Exhibition Game at 6:30 p.m. on Friday, March 19 to benefit ATOU. Former pro sports figures and local personalities mix it up with Sacramento’s Capital Cagers on wheelchairs for a great cause. Tickets are only $5 in advance, $10 at the door.
This year’s AccessToCare Fair features Autism Spectrum Disorder-related seminars led by Sutter Neuroscience Institute and UC Davis MIND Institute physicians, and a wheelchair tune-up clinic. Fun activities for children include clowns, jump houses, face painting, crafts and more.
