Sutter Creek Old-Fashioned Christmas Open House

Get your Christmas spirit in gear early and enjoy some old fashioned holiday fun on December 3-4 in Sutter Creek. To kick off the festivities, Santa will arrive down the Main Street and light the tree on Friday night. There will also be photo opportunities, children's crafts and holiday music at the Methodist Church. You also won't want to miss the group of authentic Dickens-era characters. Plus, shops along Main Street will be open until 9 p.m.

There will also be more entertainment and chances to catch up with the jolly guy in red on Saturday.

At 7 p.m. the Las Posadas Candlelight Walk will take place. The public is invited to participate in the reenactment of Joseph and Mary’s journey to Bethlehem. The parade will begin at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church on Spanish Street where Mary will mount a donkey and she and Joseph will process down historic street.
