In California alone, nearly 27% of children don’t know where their meal will come from. Raley’s Food For Families is one of the main givers of food for local food banks. Just one Food for Families bag can provide 18 meals to a hungry family.

Raley’s Food For Families holiday bag program doubles customers’ charitable giving by offering a $10 bag of wholesome, nonperishable and fresh food valued at more than $20 to benefit local food banks. Donors can personally select where they want their donation to go, ensuring that 100% of their contribution will feed the hungry in their neighborhood.
Food For Families began as a holiday food drive in 1986 and since then has raised more than $27 million and more than 17 million pounds of food for the needy, as part of the company's long-time commitment to local communities. The legacy of the program continues today, thanks to the support of Raley's customers, colleagues and community partners.
