Marshall Medical Center Auxiliary Volunteer Opportunities

Are you looking for a place to spend some meaningful volunteer time in a hospital and make a significant difference in your community?  Then call Marshall Hospital Auxiliary at (530) 626-2643!

Examples of where Auxiliary members volunteer include the Gift Shop, which raises funds for the hospital, but also on the main hospital floors, in Out-Patient Surgery in Placerville and Cameron Park, in the Emergency Department, providing staffing for the Information Desks, greeting and assisting patients and visitors, helping in the Blood Bank, and offering free Blood Pressure clinics at the Placerville and Cameron Park Marshall Medical Center Labs.

The Auxiliary has their own uniform, receives i.d. badges and parking permits from the Hospital, and must commit to a certain number of hours per year. They assist hospital staff and help our patients and visitors feel more comfortable during their stay at Marshall Medical Center.

If you are over 21, able to push a wheel chair and would like to be a member of a great group of people then this volunteer opportunity is for you!

Marshall Hospital Auxiliary is offering a class for new volunteers starting Wednesday, February 13.  Prospective members receive an orientation about the many services provided and if interested, will be registered. Please contact Linda Militello at 530-622-4823 for more information.
