The 23rd Annual Heart Ball is to be held Saturday, March 9 at the Sheraton Grand in Sacramento.
The Sacramento Heart Ball, a major fundraiser for the American Heart Association, will celebrate 23 years of saving lives in an exclusive affair this Saturday at the Sheraton Grand Hotel in downtown Sacramento. The event will look back at the last 23 years and recognize the outstanding research that has been funded through the support of our local Heart Ball donors with a special portion of the program devoted to honoring a local heart disease survivor and her family.
Adults aren’t the only ones at risk for heart disease, stroke and other cardiovascular diseases; increasingly, kids are at risk too. About 36,000 children are born with a heart defect each year and nearly one in every three U.S. kids are overweight or at risk of becoming overweight. That is why the American Heart Association is committed to improving the heart health of children. The American Heart Association’s Heart Ball inspires support of the American Heart Association’s work to create a better future for children, families and communities.
