Del Oro High School's Passionately Pink Week starts today!

Complete with 1,700+ enthusiastic high school students, Del Oro High School will host a “Passionately Pink Week” to help raise awareness for breast cancer. During the week, there will be opportunities to buy “Tackle for the Cure” T-shirts and donate money to the Del Oro High School "Tackle for the Cure" account online and at school for the Susan G. Komen Foundation, as well as activities throughout each day to promote awareness.

During this Friday night's football game, there will be a visual balloon release for survivors and those who lost the battle to the disease. Also, there will be face painting and at halftime recognition for survivors who are attending the game.

At the end of the game, one player will receive a “Best Tackle Award” in honor of the breast cancer awareness effort!
