One Night Of Queen Performed By Gary Mullen & The Works World’s Premier Queen Tribute Band Appears At Harris Center

One Night of Queen performed by Gary Mullen & The Works is a spectacular live concert, recreating the look, sound, pomp and showmanship of arguably the greatest rock band of all time.

Harris Center for the Arts delights in presenting them as part their current season. They have been hailed as the World's Premier Queen Tribute Band and have received rave reviews from over 300 performing arts centers in the USA since 2008.

Fans of Queen will delight in this note-for-note experience of mega-hits such as "Bohemian Rhapsody," "We are the Champions," "Killer Queen," "You're My Best Friend," "Crazy Little Thing Called Love," "Radio Ga Ga," "Under Pressure," "Another One Bites the Dust," and many others.

Over the past nine years, Gary Mullen & The Works have performed their show One Night Of Queen to sold-out audiences throughout the UK, USA, Europe, South Africa and New Zealand to name but a few. They have also twice rocked the prestigious BBC Proms in the Park, in front of a very enthusiastic crowd of 40,000. Gary Mullen & The Works brings the spirit and passion of rock icon Freddie Mercury to life on stage with this spectacular rock tribute.

Gary Mullen’s career as Freddie Mercury started in 2000, when he won the grand finale of the popular UK TV show Stars in Their Eyes with a record poll of 864,838 votes, the largest number of votes ever received in the popular TV show's history. Brian May was quoted on national television as saying; “Gary shares 'more than a likeness' to Freddie.” The Chronicle reports that “Mullen’s vocal range is impressive, no, unbelievable, to say the least…” He has also recorded various voiceovers for radio, television and computer games.
In 2002 Gary formed his band "The Works," comprised of Davie Brockett, Billy Moffat, Jonathan Evans and Malcolm Gentles.

ONE NIGHT OF QUEEN performed by GARY MULLEN & THE WORKS will take place on Monday, March 3, 2014 at 7:30 pm. Tickets are priced at $39-$55; Premium $65. Tickets are available online at harriscenter.net or from Harris Center Ticket Office at 916-608-6888 from 10 am to 6 pm, Monday through Saturday, and two hours before show time. Parking is included in the price of the ticket. Harris Center is located on the west side of Folsom Lake College campus in Folsom, facing East Bidwell Street.
