WHAT: Humane Kids Camp is a fun-filled way for young people to learn about responsibility, kindness and respect for all living things. Each camp session will include guest speakers and animals, hands-on activities, games and videos about animals, animal-related craft projects, animal behavior and training information and more.
COST: Due to the popularity of our Humane Kids Camp program, Placer SPCA utilizes a lottery system to determine enrollment for each camp session. To enter the lottery, they require a $50 deposit at the time of registration. Camp fees are $125.00 for children 8 and 9 years of age and $165.00 for children 10 through 12 years of age.
WHEN: Registration ends Thursday, March 27 at 7:00 p.m. Payments in-full are due Wednesday, May 14 by 7:00 p.m. Camp dates and times are as follows:
- Ages 8-9 (9 a.m. – 12 p.m.); Ages 10-12 (8:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m.)
- June 17th – 20th
- June 9th – 13th
- July 15th – 18th
- July 7th – 11th
- July 21st – 25th
