Friday Night Fun!

Looking for something to do this Friday night?

Well, here are two local offerings to choose from:
The Hubble 3D movie at IMAX opens today and should be a film of awe inspiring proportions. You will be able to experience a journey through distant galaxies and accompany astronauts as they make NASA history! To watch the trailer and get tickets, visit imaxhubble.com

And if you want something a little more close to home than the galaxy next door, The Blue Line Gallery in Roseville is opening up a new exhibit today entitled “Meditations and Mandalas.”

The exhibit will include diverse interpretations of the theme by artists Elma Jella, mixed media; Elaine B. Rothwell, etching; Patricia Littlefield, fiber quilting and Gregory K. Morss, acrylic paint and automotive bondo texture. The show will also include two mandala paintings by Marty, a Folsom State Prison inmate.

And on May 15, there will be a meditation practice of Clear Mind Zen by Novice Zen priest, Rev. KoMyo David Novotny. There will also be a reception on the May 15, 3rd Saturday Art Walk from 6:30-9 p.m.
