The deadline for entries is August 1, 2012.
The purpose of the contest is to foster interest in telling stories relating the experiences of your family.
Root Cellar accepts factual articles about family or local history, character sketches or memoirs.
The contest is open to members and non–members alike.
Prizes include a six month membership to Ancestry.com’s World Edition, Family Tree Maker 2012 software and admissions to Root Cellar’s seminar and society memberships.
