Doug Harris was involved in an IED incident in Afghanistan and as a result lost both of his legs. He has currently been at the Walter Reed Army Medical Center going through physical therapy and getting his new prosthetic legs.
His family is happy to report that he is getting to come home to Placerville for a much needed break and visit.
He will be flying into Sacramento International Airport on October 31st, on American Airlines. The flight arrives at 11:10a.m. Please help get the word out!!!
Doug Harris has made such a big sacrifice four our country! He will live with it each and every day for the rest of his life - all for the cause of freedom! Please join us in welcoming him home and cheering him on, showing our gratitude for his heroic efforts.
