The local mobile campaign will encourage Jimboy’s Tacos guests to purchase and sign a $1 Make a Muscle, Make a Difference® mobile when they buy Fresh Food Made Fast at any of Jimboy’s Tacos 40 locations to raise funds for MDA's programs of research and health care services, including MDA summer camp.
To kick off the campaign, Jimboy’s Tacos location at 708 E. Bidwell in Folsom will donate 15% of all sales mentioning MDA during our Kickoff Celebration on Saturday, December 15. They invite the public to join them, meet a MDA Camper, and learn more about the MDA on Saturday from the hours of 2p.m.-5p.m.!

- Why: This is the first year MDA and Jimboy’s Tacos have partnered for a mobile fundraising campaign. Funds raised from “Make a Muscle” mobile sales will benefit families in the greater Sacramento and northern Nevada area served by MDA.
MDA is the nonprofit health agency dedicated to curing muscular dystrophy, ALS and related diseases by funding worldwide research. The Association also provides comprehensive health care and support services, advocacy and education.
For over 50 years Jimboy’s Tacos have been a Northern California / Nevada tradition. Multiple generations of Mexican-style food aficionados have enjoyed Jimboy’s uniquely flavored menu, anchored by its legendary ground beef taco.
