Free Senior Legal Seminars Coming to Placerville

El Dorado County Senior Legal Services, a program of the El Dorado County Community Services, is hosting a series of community trainings in Placerville during the month of March.

Individuals may attend the whole series or just one class. All classes will be held at the Placerville Senior Center Dining Hall, 937 Spring Street in Placerville, from 1:30 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. The informational sessions, targeted for seniors in El Dorado County, are free and will be held as follows:

Thursday, March 7 Advanced Health Care Directives and Powers of Attorney
These essential documents can be abused. Learn how to prepare them safely and effectively.

Thursday, March 14 - Wills and Trusts for a Simple Estate
Even with less than a fortune, you still need to plan for the transfer of your assets. Learn what documents are right for you.

Thursday March 21Planning for Long Term Care
They’ll take the fear out of long term care planning and look at your options for paying for care if needed.
