The 2013 fundraiser will be held on November 16 from 4:30 - 8 p.m, at the St Patrick's Church Hall, 3109 Sacramento St, Placerville.
This event raises funds to help feed the poor locally and internationally! The Upper Room Dining Hall in Placerville receives half of the funds raised and an international organization, Semilla Nueva, working in Guatemala receives the other half.
The Supper includes a home-cooked meal of soup, bread and beverage in a keepsake bowls. You get to keep the hand-made bowl as a reminder that hunger exists.
There will be live music by Coloma Celtic and Doug of the Rusty Buckets.
Suggested donation for the supper is $15 - $50.
New this year is the Empty Bowls Benefit Concert at the Cosmic Cafe after the supper from 8 p.m. until midnight. Music by Mind X, Mark Sexton Band and Madeleine Mathews. Cover charge at the door.
