The various methods of propagating plants by seed will be taught by Master Gardeners Gail Fulbeck and Debbie Hillel.
Covered will be selection and germination, starting media, planting containers, hardening off and transplanting seedlings, and common reasons for germination and seedling failure. If time permits, a discussion of seed saving techniques will be included. Hands-on demonstrations in the MG Demonstration Garden next door.
The location of this class is at Folsom Lake College, El Dorado Center Classroom, 6699 Campus Dr., Placerville, Room A-105.
