Festival highlights include:
Opening Concert on Saturday, June 9 at 6:30pm. The concert features a stellar line-up. Two young and talented local pianists, Dominic Pang (1st place winner of the 2011 Classical Masters Music Festival Category A, 7 years old) and Christopher Son Richardson (1st place winner of the 2011 Classical Masters Music Festival Category B2, 12 years old). Also featured will be guest pianist Yeol Eum Son, Silver medalist of the 13th Van Cliburn 2009 International Piano Competition and the Steven De Groote Memorial Award for the Best Performance of Chamber Music. Tickets are $29.
Master Classes on Saturday afternoon, June 9, for music teachers, aspiring novice pianists, chamber music ensemble and advanced young pianists. Tickets are $10.
Final Piano Competition/Closing Concert on Sunday, June 10, at 3pm with solo piano semi-finalists, ages 4-18 from all over the state, competing for final prize categories. Tickets are $19.
The Classical Masters Musical Festival is a registered nonprofit organization whose mission is to provide an interacting and engaging environment that supports and stimulates the interest of young people in music and performing arts.
